We are at the foot of 40-mile Moosehead Lake in Greenville, Maine in the Shaw Block on the comer of Pritham Ave. and Lily Bay Road. The Shaw block building itself being one of the oldest buildings in Greenville, used to house the post office, bank, power and water offices and Lodge Hall before becoming a store front for the original "Indian Store" run by the Faye Family for over 66 years.
Indian decorations line these walls once again. Smells of cedar and balsam products greet you as are greeted by our own Chief Red Eagle. Memories of years past and present are made here.
Unique furnishings for camp and home, Adirondack and cedar furniture, decorating accessories, Maine souvenirs, moose and deer mounts, hunting and fishing prints, fur animals and our own line of Kamp Kamp tee shirts featuring sayings by Henry David Thoreau are found here.
Our Motto "Something for everyone " includes children as well. Our ever-popular $1.00 box, rustic sling shots, rattlesnake eggs, bows and arrows, raccoon, bear and moose hats round out some of the favorites for all ages.
Much history and memories surround the Moosehead Lake Indian Store. A must see while in Greenville... Browsing accepted and encouraged! See you soon...
